Lenyo Lux FAQs
Q. How do I position myself on the Lenyo Lux during treatment?
A. First, it's a good idea to use a sheet or blanket over the Lux pad. You may have up to an inch of cover over the pad without minimizing the effects of the frequencies. Lie or sit on the pad, arranging the body so that the largest possible area of the body part to be treated is in contact with the pad.
Q. Is there a top and bottom of the mat?
A. The bottom of the pad is where the cable is located. It does not matter if you lay on the pad with your head to the top or bottom, with one exception. If you run a program using either UP or DOWN intensity, then you should have the cable connection of the pad at your feet.
Q. What is the Up, Down, High, and Low?
A. These are intensity settings.
An adult in poor condition or a weakened state, a child or an elderly adult should select LOW intensity.
An adult in good condition can usually select HIGH intensity.
Those who suffer from high blood pressure, whoe are subject to muscle cramps, or with diseases of the vegetative nervous system should use the decreasing intensity mode, or DOWN.
For increasing intensity, use UP.
Those who are in good condition and physical state, who have a well-functioning circulatory system, and whose body-PH is not acidic, should use the UP-DOWN intensity mode.
Q. How do I use the small pad?
A. The small pad is used to "localize" the energy. Wrap this around any part of the body that you would like to get extra "attention" during treatment.
Q. How many and how often can I use the programs?
A. The following general principles should be followed during the treatment period:
A maximum of 3 programs should be run continually, one after another.
After running 2-3 programs, at least 30 minutes rest is needed to allow the body to react to the stimuli.
No more than 10 programs should be run by one person in one day.
Q. How does the Lenyo Lux work, and what kind of responses should I expect?
A. The Lenyo Lux focuses and harmonizes the proper functioning of the human body by generating a low-dosage electromagnetic-driven field at precise frequencies and amplitudes known to directly resonate with, and this influence, specific cell and tissue types of the body. The resonance interactions are produced by both acoustic and electromagnetic signals. In practice these are used as part of electrotherapy, magneto-therapy or combined electromagnetic therapy. During resonance treatment the device emits extremely low intensity signals that are not directly perceived by the treated person. Mild sensations (such as warmth or tingling) might be experienced by some individuals due to the self regulating, adopting functions of the body.
Q. Some of the programs that are listed in the manual show two program times. What does this mean?
A. Some of the programs have a long and short cycle. To run the short cycle, always start the program number with a "1". For example, to run the short Back Pain program, enter 129 as the program number. Use program number 29 to run the long cycle for Back Pain .
